Cannabis Ministry protections for people in Moscow

Dear friends,

Violence being done to people in the Cannabis culture is outrageous and illegal. If ’marijuana’ is in any way a part of your spiritual life, as it is for most people who use it as an herbal therapeutic, as food, and/or as an entheogen, then you are already a part of the global Cannabis culture who find spiritual value in Cannabis.

The California Cannabis Ministry sends this message of solidarity to all who are being abused for their use of sacramental/medicinal/nutritional Cannabis.

You may care to consider the international legal protections afforded by treaties protecting our freedom of religion. Drugs don’t make seeds. Herbs do. Genesis 1:29-31 states that "God said, "Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed..."" The Russian government is violating your "freedom of religion" guaranteed under several international treaties which Russia has signed and is bound to uphold.
