OFDT: Drugs, Main Statistics 2009

According to Hélène Martineau, assistant of the director of the OFDT, is the decline of cannabis consumption since 2000 dued to "a regulation of the cannabis market" with, as positive indications, the sensibilisation campaigns and the decline of tobacco consumption. The expert also points to the fact that "this tendency has been observed in other European countires too". But it is a fact that the decline of cannabis consumption did not reach other drugs. Cocaine experiences, still for the 17 year old, have risen from 0,9% up to 3,3%.
